What of our small towns? Are we paying enough attention ?
Home decor items about the big capitals (NY, Paris, London, Amsterdam) are ubiquitous, the same goes for international monuments or wild animals… But they can be a bit generic, impersonal and may not convey the connection we feel to smaller places, their personality and charm.
Nos Patelins was born out of this feeling: why not offer beautiful and modern decoration objects depicting smaller towns people can really connect with? Places we love to go to or would love to discover. Places where it feels good to wander, explore and make connections.
I love travelling, and I’m a big fan of what we call in France the “terroir” – the deep country. I take the time to explore the French countryside with my drone, searching for magical places. I look for the ideal photo angle to capture the essence of a place. At first glance, people must say: “I recognize this place, of course, it is … ” bringing back great memories or a sense of longing.
I sincerely hope you will appreciate my work and enjoy whichever skyline you choose.
